More Volunteering opportunities to help save Pugin’s Chambers at the Granville Hotel

We know that with your help, this incredible Grade II listed Pugin building can be saved for ever, have a productive future and once again be the focal point for the community http://heritagelab.org.uk/projects/pugins-chambers/

Throughout this #CuriouslyCreative project there will be opportunities for people to get involved. Right now, our focus is on raising £485k to acquire the site and open it up for people to use & see before its restoration. If you can help with any of the following key tasks especially between February to May, please get in touch as soon as you can.

Administration

As our project is beginning to gain real momentum, we need to dedicate more time to ensuring that our records are as organised and as accurate as possible. By volunteering to help with Heritage Lab’s administration, we can devote more time to fundraising, and know that we have accurate records to show our funders or philanthropic investors.

Genealogist or historian

There will be many opportunities to get involved in various aspects of the history of this amazing building. Right now, to help with our fundraising, we want to try to locate the descendants of as many of the high profile people who have been linked with the hotel over its history. Thanks to the hard work of Ben Kelly and others we have lots of names dating back to the inaugural banquet.
